Michael has a Diploma in Agricultural Engineering (Dipl. On moving to New Zealand he has been instrumental in the development of industrial vermicomposting technologies for primary industries and municipal organic wastes.

Michael is currently responsible for research and developing of future technologies for utilisation of organic wastes in his consulting role with Quintern Innovation and is founder and Director of MyNOKE® - world leaders in vermicomposting technology.

In Michael's TedX Talk he shares his passion for Earthworms, solving the problem of industrial waste and the barren lands left behind by forest harvesting.
